Brain behind Komhendo
1. Komhendo factory looks like a laboratory. What is the vision behind your products
Komhendo factory looks like a laboratory. What is the vision behind your products? We, our factory is in continuous process of testing different combination of material (fibers) with different thickness, quality while weaving the fabrics in the handloom or while knitting. For instance, finer linen on the warp and cashmere on the weft gives a beautiful fabric which is soft yet sturdy.
Many a time it is experimenting with thickness of yarn, different raw material, but the fundamental is always sticking to natural fibers. It’s all trial and error to be honest. Sometimes the result is extremely beautiful base fabric which could be used for various purposes like upholstery fabrics and coat fabric among many others.patterns, resulting in one-of-a-kind textiles. Our prowess lies prominently in the art of weaving, solidifying our commitment to craftsmanship and individuality.
2. What sets Komhendo apart?
Diverging from the conventional approach of fashion houses that design on pre-existing fabric, our distinctive process involves predominantly handloomed textiles. The inception of design revolves around combining different thicknesses, qualities, and colors of yarn, intricately arranged to form unique
patterns, resulting in one-of-a-kind textiles. Our prowess lies prominently in the art of weaving, solidifying our commitment to craftsmanship and individuality.
